Türkiye's first nuclear power plant Akkuyu will be loaded with the first FUEL in the new year. The construction of Türkiye'sfirst nuclear power plant Akkuyu Nuclear Inc. has been completed by 90 percent (Unit 1). Fuel loading into the first reactor of the nuclear power plant consisting of four reactors will be carried out in the new year (2025).
Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar said: "Today, we left behind another important milestone in the commissioning of the reactor with the Completion of the Assembly of the 1st Reactor Turbine Plant Ceremony." The Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant is being built by the Russian state institution Rosatom.
