ELECTRICITY GENERATION FROM RENEWABLES IS INCREASING. : In 2019, electricity generation from renewable sources has already reached 107 billion kWh (74 billion kWh is from HEPPs) in Turkey. As of today, the installed generation capacity in Turkey is 90 458 MW and the installed capacity of renewable energy plants is 43 333 MW (28 437 MW is from HEPPs).
