BOTAŞ to Purchase 2.4 Billion Cubic Meters of Natural Gas from Shell

Public company BOTAŞ (Petroleum Pipeline Corporation) has signed an agreement to purchase 2.4 billion cubic meters of LNG from Shell over a three-year period.

Energy Director Alparslan Bayraktar shared information about the agreement: "We have signed a three-year agreement between BOTAŞ and Shell, covering a total of 2.4 billion cubic meters of LNG. I hope this agreement will be beneficial for our country and our companies."

Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar stated, "We have signed a three-year LNG purchase agreement between our national company BOTAŞ and BP, at the Gastech margin.

Under the agreement, approximately 1.6 billion cubic meters of LNG will be delivered to our country annually, totaling 4.8 billion cubic meters.

This collaboration is particularly important for ensuring our supply security during the winter months, increasing resource diversity, and strengthening commercial flexibility."
