Previously only turbines that can be installed hydro power plants brought from abroad, was produced for the first time in Turkey with TÜBİTAK funded project Milhes. Hes-1 in Antalya Kepez old turbine was dismantled and tested instead of all the latest technology in Turkey and started to fitting the new generated. The project was supported by TOBB ETU.
