Karadeniz Holding, which has the world's largest floating power plant fleet, will build a new Powership under the KARMOL brand, which it established with Japanese MOL, the world giant in LNG transportation. The new ship, whose sheet metal cutting ceremony was held at Sedef Shipyard on July 5, is aimed to be launched in May 2026.

Zeynep Harezi Yılmaz, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of Karadeniz Holding, said: "The number of Powerships that we started investing in in the early 2000s has reached 40 today." said.
