Earlier this week in Amurang, Indonesia, Powership Zeynep Sultan began power generation using Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) after the successful conversion of its first two dual-fuel engines. The LNG is converted from liquid to gas via a floating storage regasification unit (FSRU).
The LNG-to-power project is part of an agreement with PLN GG, supplying the LNG, and PT Sulawesi Regas Satu, operator and owner of FSRU Hua Xiang 8m.
This transition from fuel oil to LNG utilizes Indonesia’s natural resources and reduces the carbon footprint of electricity generation- providing greater economic and environmental value to our partners in Indonesia.'Energy Economy
