''Oğuzhan Oğuz, Head of the External Relations and International Projects Department at BOTAŞ, has been elected as a member of the Executive Committee, the highest decision-making body of the International Gas Union (IGU). The six new members, selected through a vote involving more than 60 member countries, will officially assume their roles following the World Gas Conference to be held in China from May 19 to 23.

Established in 1931, the IGU is recognized as one of the most prestigious organizations in the global energy sector, with over 150 members from more than 80 countries. It aims to promote natural gas as a sustainable, secure, and accessible energy source. This significant appointment will contribute to the stronger global representation of Türkiye’s strategic vision in the energy sector and enhance our Organization’s international standing (BOTAŞ)''.
