The number of diesel vehicles increased from 3.3 billion in the period 2004-2017 to 11.1 million. while the increase in the number of gasoline vehicles increased from 5.5 million to 6.3 million in the same period. In contrast to gasoline, the number of LPG vehicles increased from 800 thousand to 4 million.
