Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar introduced "Turkey's 2030 Energy Efficiency Strategy and Action Plan." Minister Bayraktar: "With the implementation of our action plan, we will reduce our energy consumption by 16 percent and contribute to 100 million tons of emission reduction by 2030."

Minister Bayraktar stated that they will make an energy efficiency investment of 20 billion dollars together with the private sector in order to achieve these goals, and said, "Thus, we will achieve energy savings of 46 billion dollars by 2040."
