Turkey will consume 60 billion cubic meters of natural gas this year


The Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EMRA) announced its 2022 natural gas consumption forecast for Turkey as 60,044,873,569 Sm3 (standard cubic meters).

EMRA also introduced a minimum stock holding requirement in natural gas transmission networks starting from 2022. The minimum stock amount will be 360.293.645 Sm3.

Consumed 955 million kWh of electricity - 243 million cubic meters of natural gas... Turkey consumed a total of 955 million kWh (Kilow-hours) of electricity and 243 million cubic meters of natural gas on Friday, January 21. On the same day, Turkey's total gasoline consumption was 53.7 million liters and gasoline consumption was 20.7 million liters. Weekend energy consumption in Turkey is slightly decreasing compared to weekday energy consumption.
