Fatih Dönmez, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, announced that talks were held for the establishment of small nuclear power plants in Turkey.

Minister Dönmez: 'Small reactors called SMR, that is, they are made at lower capacity. There are studies on these. There are some studies in England, there are in America. They are also currently being discussed. There are power plants of 100 megawatts, 70 megawatts, 300 and 400 megawatts.'
