TURKEY-AZERBAIJAN: as of July 1 Europe ready to give natural gas

TANAP, the most important link of the Southern Gas Corridor, has been completed. The Trans Anatolian Natural Gas Pipeline Project (TANAP), the most important link of the Southern Gas Corridor, is ready to transmit Azerbaijani gas to Europe as of 1 July 2019. After the completion of the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP), the last part of the Southern Gas Corridor, the natural gas extracted from the Shahdeniz-2 field of Azerbaijan will be transported to Europe and contribute to energy supply security.
