Turbo generator of the Russians was delivered to Mersin Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant!

The turbine plant of the 1st power unit of Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant built by Rosatom, the main equipment of the stator, turbo generator rotor and low pressure cylinder were delivered to Akkuyu NPP.

The turbine plant of the 1st power unit of Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant built by Rosatom, the main equipment of the stator, turbo generator rotor and low pressure cylinder were delivered to Akkuyu NPP.
The biggest piece among the equipment with a total weight of over 1000 tons was the turbo generator stator, with a weight of over 430 tons and a length of 12 meters.
Sergey Butckikh, First Deputy General Manager of Akkuyu Nuclear A.Ş., said that the 'stator of the turbo generator' is the heaviest equipment of a nuclear power plant.

As it is known, Russia's State Atomic Energy Agency (Rosatom) is building Turkey's first nuclear power plant.
