Tipula Tanap is not alone anymore!

TAKİP ET

Tipula Tanap is not alone anymore. Tanap Cinar and three new Hilara species recently joined the TANAP family.

TANAP keeps on adding value to the biodiversity of Turkey. Publication of scientific articles for the registry of the new species that were discovered during Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) studies of TANAP continues after the publication of the article for Tipula tanap only a few weeks ago.
Among these new species, Tanap cinar sp. nov. has recently been introduced to the world of science. Following a detailed study on the specimens that were collected from Eskişehir and Yozgat provinces, the species was actually found to be belonging to a brand new genus, which was named after TANAP.

Another publication was made for three new Hilara species, namely Hilara ardahanensis, Hilara elifae, and Hilara hasbenlii, recorded in Sivas and Ardahan provinces of Turkey.
