The second pipeline will carry 31.5 billion cubic meters of gas annually from Russia to Turkey has been completed.

The first natural gas flow will start towards the end of 2019.

The sea section of TürkAkım consists of two pipelines with a length of 930 kilometers that run parallel to each other at the base of the Black Sea.
 
Construction of the marine part will be completed, on 19 November 2018 in a ceremony that the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin will also attend.
