The Russians have developed a new technology for nuclear reactors

A new technology has been developed by the Kurchatov Institute of Russia's National Research Center (NRC), which allows the prolonged life of large capacity nuclear reactors.

Rosatom General Manager Alexey Likhachev said this technology is the newest technology in the world.

The annealing technology allowed the reactors to last for 45 to 60 years.
