The importance of the BTC (Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan) Crude Oil Pipeline, one of Turkey's most important international projects, increased even more after Russia's invasion of Ukraine. This importance was also reflected in the oil transported through the pipeline. According to the data of the public oil company BOTAŞ, the amount of crude oil transported from the line increased by more than 3 million barrels per month after the war.
