Successfully completed

An important phase in the construction of the Ilisu Dam and Hydroelectric Power Plant (HEPP), which is the vision of the Southeastern Anatolia Project (GAP) and was constructed by the General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works (DSİ) affiliated to the Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs, has been successfully completed.

Ilısu Dam and HEPP construction with a total of 1,200 megawatts each unit consisting of 6 units, each unit 200 megawatts, and 6th and last unit with 40 ton weight
The 4.2-meter-wide impeller has been successfully replaced. With this operation, the 6th unit was made ready for power generation.
