Starting from 1993...

Starting from 1993, ENKA, together with its joint venture partner, Bechtel, signed a series of contracts for a number of projects to develop the Tengiz Oil Field in western Kazakhstan. ENKA and Bechtel’s first contracts were awarded by Tengizchevroil (TCO) for projects relating to the improvement of the Tengiz Oil Field infrastructure. To date ENKA-Bechel JV has undertaken projects with an overall contracted value of US$ 3.8 billion in Tengiz Oil Field.
