Solar power plant number increased from 3,613 to 5,591

Solar energy in Turkey is experiencing a rise in the number of plants in recent years. As of September 30, 2018, the number of solar power plants, which was 3,613 at the end of 2017, rose to 5,591. The increase is attributed to the gradually reduction of solar energy systems and improvements in the legislation.
