Platform will work for Botas

Rönesans shipped Turkey's first mega drilling rig that is capable of underground natural gas storage across the İstanbul Stariat. The project plays a key role in making Turkey a regional hub for matural gas. 

Renaissance, Turkey's first underground natural gas storage capability for carrying BOTAS underground storage of spent Bosphorus giant drilling platform.

The project, which employs approximately 1400 people, is expected to be completed and commissioned in the first quarter of 2021. When the project is completed, Turkey will get about 3.7 billion cubic meters of gas storage capacity under the sea.
