Interest in solar energy in Turkey is growing. According to TEIAS official figures, the installed power in solar energy is 3.925 MW (Megawatt). The installed power of wind energy is 6,607 MW. The installed power of geothermal energy is 1,129 MW. The total installed capacity of electricity in Turkey (as of April 6, 2018) is 86 198 MW.
