Energy Leader BOTAŞ and EGAS Join Forces in the Mediterranean!

Targeting to Become an Energy Hub, BOTAŞ Strengthens Its International Connections - Energy news from Türkiye.

While successfully carrying out various activities in a lot of spheres from natural gas to oil, renewable energy, LNG and FSRU terminal operations, storage and port services, BOTAŞ also continues to establish strong collaborations with energy partners in the region in line with the purpose of increasing the diversity of energy resources.

Within the scope of the President's official visit to Egypt, a meeting was held between the senior management of national natural gas companies BOTAŞ and EGAS (Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company).

During the meeting, it was agreed to further strengthen the relations between BOTAŞ and EGAS. Within this framework, discussions were held on natural gas and LNG trading opportunities, cooperation on natural gas infrastructure and underground storages, sharing of technical information and experience.

The purpose is to support the energy security of our country and our region through the concrete steps to be taken in the forthcoming period by the parties on the issues discussed.

BOTAŞ continues to create added value for our country and shape the future as a strong player on a global scale with the supply potential it has reached through the investments it has realized in recent years and the cooperation it has established with its international partners.
