Çetin Dam and Hydroelectric Power Plant receives Zero Waste Certificate...
Within the scope of the “Zero Waste Project” initiated by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, Çetin Dam and Hydroelectric Power Plant (HEPP) was entitled to receive the “Zero Waste Certificate” by establishing the Zero Waste Management System, audited by the Siirt Provincial Directorate of Environment and Urbanization.Çetin Dam and HEPP, which started energy production at full capacity in June 2020, is the biggest roller compacted concrete (RCC) type dam of Turkey and Europe and the total installed capacity of the dam is 420 MW.
