Alkumru Dam and Hydroelectric Power Plant receives Zero Waste Certificate

Within the scope of the “Zero Waste Project” initiated by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, Alkumru Dam and Hydroelectric Power Plant (HEPP) was entitled to receive the “Zero Waste Certificate” by establishing the Zero Waste Management System, audited by the Siirt Provincial Directorate of Environment and Urbanization.

Alkumru Dam and HEPP, which has been put into operation in 2011, is included among the hydroelectric power plants with the largest embankment volume in Turkey with a total capacity of 280MW.
