Nissan Turkey General Manager Sinan Özkök has made predictions concerning the future of the automotive manufacturing at the global scale. Speaking during the İstanbul Economic Summit, he said "after not so much time, but maybe as near as 2030, three of every ten autos will run on electric. Also, one in every fout vehicles will have autonomous driving capability." According to Özkök's estimates, in 2025, there will be no vehicle in the world without internet connection.
